Dr. García Roldán

Erileen García Roldán, MD

Dr. García Roldán was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She graduated with the highest honors from Juan Suarez Pelegrina High School. She attended the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus, where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelors in Biology. She then proceeded to complete a Masters degree in Biology with research in Parasitology. For the next several years, she served on the faculty at both the University of Puerto Rico and the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico as a professor.

She moved to Grenada to start her journey in medicine, and obtained her Medical Doctorate from St. Georges University, School of Medicine. During her training, Dr. García found her love for pediatrics from day one, serving in the community clinics, and developing the “Teddy Bear Program” to decrease children anxiety at doctor visits among others.

In 2020, amidst the global pandemic, she started her training as a Pediatric Resident at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. During her training, she was awarded “Patient Champion” and “Resident of the Year.” Miami has become her new home where she lives with her spouse and son. She is very excited to continue to grow here in this community, and within the amazing team at Marimon Pediatrics.
