Andrea A. Negrini, APRN

Andrea was born and raised in Miami, FL and attended St. Theresa School and Our Lady of Lourdes Academy. She graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Family and Child Sciences and returned home to get her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Miami.

​Upon graduation, she was accepted into the Horizon Nursing Residency Program at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital where she worked for 3.5 years in a respiratory medical surgical unit that specialized in the care of respiratory illnesses such as asthma, cystic fibrosis, pneumonia, RSV, and other viral illnesses.

​During her tenure at Nicklaus Children’s, Andrea participated in unit and hospital-wide councils that implemented nursing-driven protocols. She is a Certified Pediatric Nurse which validates knowledge and expertise of pediatric nurses beyond basic RN licensure. Andrea is a recipient of the Daisy Award for Extraordinary Nurses, an internationally recognized award that honors nurses that provide excellent and compassionate care to their patients

​In 2021, Andrea completed her Master’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Miami and was inducted as a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society.

In her spare time, Andrea enjoys traveling and exploring Miami’s diverse culinary scene.
